FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

IPA Support Services seeks compassionate Support Workers empowering 16-18 year olds within supported accommodation. This dynamic role builds independence through life skills development and person-centred support.

Your Responsibilities include:

• Providing day-to-day support delivering 1:1/group sessions per individual risk plans.

• Developing life skills (budgeting, cooking, healthy relationships) plus education engagement.

• Managing safeguarding concerns, challenging behaviour and de-escalation effectively.

• Maintaining digital records, completing assessments and supporting move-on planning.

Work Schedule

36.92 hours weekly across 24/7 flexible rota (days, waking nights, sleep-ins, weekends).

You Will Have

• 1+ year experience supporting young people/vulnerable individuals required.

• Strong safeguarding knowledge plus trauma-informed relationship building skills.

• Resilience managing emotional/behavioural challenges with basic IT proficiency.

• Excellent communication working independently within multi-agency team environment.

Requirements

• Enhanced DBS (Children’s Workforce), full UK driving licence preferred.

• UK work authorization with Leeds commuting/relocation capability.
