FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

The Project Tester and Coordinator ensures the quality, reliability, and compliance of software applications being developed by Pivotal Curve Health for clinical, administrative, scheduling, and data management purposes. This role focuses on testing our web-based platforms designed for behavior analysts, therapists, and administrative staff for time management, scheduling, authorizations, documentation, workflows, and overall operational management.

Your Responsibilities include:

• Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases and test scripts for software applications, including mobile apps on Android and iOS platforms.

• Conduct functional, system, regression, performance, load, and user acceptance testing to validate software quality against specified requirements.

• Utilize testing tools to automate test cases and improve testing efficiency.

• Perform API testing

• Execute manual and/or automated testing for web-based applications across multiple browsers and devices.

• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies using agreed-upon tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana).

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and clinical operations teams to ensure functionality aligns with ABA workflows, methods, and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA).

• Verify the functionality and reliability of each software component.

• Suggest improvements to enhance usability, accessibility, and overall efficiency.

• Provide clear, concise feedback and contribute to quality assurance of the software.

• Remote work setting, with periodic meetings and reviews.

• Collaboration with cross-functional teams including clinical team members and developers.

• Collaborate with developers and business analysts during requirements gathering to ensure testability and coverage of all scenarios.

• Analyze test results, identify root causes of issues through debugging and troubleshooting techniques, and document defects clearly in tracking systems like Jira or TFS.

• Conduct cross-platform mobile testing on Android and iOS devices; verify compatibility across different operating systems and screen sizes.

• Perform database validation using SQL queries on MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or MongoDB to ensure data integrity and proper system functioning.

Requirement 

• Proven experience in software testing.

• Hands-on expertise with test automation tools.

• Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks for Android and iOS applications.

• Knowledge of APIs, web services, and data formats for API validation.

• Strong SQL skills for database validation using PL/SQL or T-SQL; experience with MySQL or Microsoft SQL Server preferred.

• Experience working with version control systems.

• Ability to perform root cause analysis by debugging code issues across different environments; excellent problem-solving skills.

• Understanding of DevOps practices including pipelines; familiarity with containerization tools is a plus.

• Excellent communication skills to clearly document test cases, defects, and test results; ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

• Knowledge of performance testing tools; experience with system performance analysis is desirable.
