FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

NHS Forth Valley seeks Clinical Support Workers for HMP Glenochil prison healthcare team. This diverse role delivers person-centred care to complex prisoner population addressing mental health, physical, substance misuse and social needs within secure environment.

Your Responsibilities include:

• Providing high standard support to nursing team working autonomously within competencies.

• Delivering care within prison security procedures to patients at all healthcare journey stages.

• Collaborating within extensive multidisciplinary team improving prisoner health and rehabilitation.

Work Schedule

Full-time 36 hours per week (reduced from 37 hours as of April 2026).

You Will Have

• Relevant healthcare experience with SVQ3 qualification and venepuncture competency.

• Strong person-centred care delivery with excellent team working abilities.

• Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme membership capability.

Requirements

• High awareness of prison security procedures and complex patient needs management.
