FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

Aquark Technologies is looking for a hands-on Electronics Systems Engineer to design, prototype and optimise advanced electronics for cold atom and quantum systems. The role is highly collaborative, practical and suited to someone who thrives in a start-up environment and enjoys solving complex engineering problems.

Your Responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with scientists and engineers to define system requirements for quantum technologies.

• Designing, developing and testing low-noise analog and digital circuits.

• Implementing control and data acquisition systems for experiments.

• Debugging and optimising complex electronic hardware for reliable performance.

• Integrating and testing next-generation quantum devices.

Work Schedule

Full-time role with flexible hours and core hours from 10am to 4pm.

You Will Have

• BSc or MSc in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, with PhD or Systems Engineering background a plus.

• 3+ years’ experience in electronics design and prototyping for high-performance systems.

• Strong skills in analog and digital circuit design, PCB layout and prototyping.

• Experience with GHz RF circuits highly desirable.

• Proactive, flexible, hands-on start-up mindset.

Requirements

• Proficiency with relevant programming languages and design tools.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
