FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

Igne is seeking a hands-on Engineering Assistant to support its multi-disciplined engineering team across a wide range of projects. This practical role involves site visits, sample handling, basic testing and helping keep on-site and storage operations running smoothly.

Your Responsibilities include:

• Carrying out site visits to support the engineering team.

• Delivering and collecting soil and rock samples from project locations.

• Supporting on-site testing activities as required.

• Organising the sample storage facility, including stock control and sample disposal.

• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and preparing report enclosures.

Work Schedule

Full-time role with travel required and work away from home when necessary.

You Will Have

• Flexibility, conscientiousness and strong attention to detail.

• Willingness to learn and comfort with pre-construction activities.

• Computer literacy and ability to work in a practical field-based role.

• A full UK driving licence.

Requirements

• Right to work in the UK at the time of application.
