FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Beaumont Home Care Professional, you’ll be the trusted presence providing physical and emotional support to clients in their own homes across Brentwood, Basildon, Chelmsford and surrounding villages, assisting with personal care (bed mobility, bathing, dressing, toileting), medication administration, errands (shopping/prescriptions), companionship, light housekeeping, and meal preparation. This flexible role operates 7am-10pm with late afternoon (4-7pm), evening (7-10pm), and extended afternoon (3-10pm) shifts, delivering comfort, dignity, and peace of mind while building meaningful relationships with regular clients. Your Responsibilities include:

• Provide personal care including bed transfers, bathing/showering, dressing, and toileting support.

• Administer medications, run errands (shopping, prescriptions), and prepare home-cooked meals.

• Offer companionship through conversation, humour, reassurance, and social interaction.

• Perform light housekeeping (hoovering, dusting, bed changes, washing up).

• Maintain accurate care records with attention to detail and professionalism.

Work Schedule

Full-time guaranteed hours or flexible zero-hour contracts.

Shifts: Late afternoon (4pm–7pm), 

Evening (7pm–10pm), 

Extended afternoon (3pm–10pm).

Two weekends per month required.

You Will Have

• Physically fit for care duties with or without assistance.

Requirements

• Right to work in UK (sponsorship newly available for eligible candidates).

• Full UK driving licence with car access (essential).

• Two weekends/month availability.

• Very good spoken/written English.

• £13.78–£27.56/hour (incl. time-and-a-half/double time Bank Holidays).
