FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

As an Online Assistant, you will play an important role in delivering a smooth and enjoyable online shopping experience for customers. Your work ensures that online orders are carefully prepared and delivered with the same high standards customers expect when shopping in store.
This role involves working both independently and as part of a team, often during early morning shifts, to prepare online grocery orders efficiently and accurately.
Your Responsibilities include:
• Pick and select the best quality products from the shop floor for online orders
• Provide suitable substitutions if products are unavailable
• Use a handheld device to manage your route through the store and track orders
• Support with customer enquiries and order processing
• Assist with loading delivery vans for home delivery drivers
• Provide helpful and friendly customer service whenever required
• Build strong knowledge of products, services, and promotions
• Work flexibly across different areas of the store
Work Schedule
Part-time: 12 hours per week
Shift Hours
Thursday: 04:00 – 08:00
Saturday: 05:00 – 09:00
Sunday: 07:00 – 11:00

You will have:
• Be comfortable with early morning shifts, often starting at 4am
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced, physical environment
• Be friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic about assisting customers
• Be confident using digital tools and handheld technology
• Demonstrate attention to detail when selecting products
• Be able to lift shopping containers up to 15kg
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Requirement
• Must be above the school-leaver age in the UK
• If shifts start before 6am or finish after 11pm, applicants must be 18 years or older
