FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

Cheriton Homecare is seeking experienced and reliable Care Assistants who are currently working in the United Kingdom on a Skilled Worker visa and are looking for additional hours.

This role is designed to provide consistent supplementary work within a well-structured and supportive care environment, delivering high-quality care to individuals in their own homes.

Your Responsibilities include:

• Delivering safe, respectful, dignified personal care within individual home environments consistently.

• Maintaining professional communication with clients plus families ensuring person-centred approach.

• Demonstrating reliability across scheduled additional hours complementing existing employment.

• Participating in quality oversight processes supporting high care standards throughout service delivery.

Work Schedule

Expected hours: 1.0 – 40.0 per week

You Will Have

• Previous domiciliary/community care experience with strong person-centred care understanding essential.

• Professional reliability plus clear communication skills working independently in client homes.

Requirements

• Previous experience in domiciliary or community-based care 

• A professional and reliable approach to work 

• Strong communication skills and a clear understanding of person-centred care 

• Right to work in the United Kingdom under a Skilled Worker visa 

• A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential

Applicants must currently hold a valid Skilled Worker visa with an existing sponsor.

This role is offered as supplementary employment in line with current immigration rules. Following a period of approximately three months, and subject to performance, reliability, and organisational requirements, there may be an opportunity to be considered for a transfer of sponsorship. This is not guaranteed and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
