FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to join our restaurant Royal Deli team. This role involves supporting the daily operations of our restaurant establishment, ensuring exceptional service delivery, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality, and leading a team of staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive hospitality experience, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences. Your Responsibilities include:
• Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth functioning.
• Supervise and motivate team members, including front-of-house and kitchen staff, to deliver high standards of service.
• Support food preparation and cooking activities, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards.
• Manage food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Coordinate food production processes, optimise workflow, and monitor stock levels.
• Serve customers directly when required, providing exceptional hospitality and resolving any issues promptly.
• Assist with training new staff members and conducting performance evaluations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen and service areas.
• Support event planning and execution as needed, including managing reservations and special requests.
Work Schedule
Full-time restaurant hours including weekends serving hospitality customer demands.
You Will Have
• Proven supervisory experience within a restaurant or hotel environment.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage teams effectively.
• Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards.
• Experience in food production, kitchen operations, or culinary roles.
• Familiarity with hospitality services such as serving, barista duties, or hotel management is advantageous.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure.
• Good communication skills to liaise effectively with staff and customers.
• Knowledge of health regulations related to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Previous experience in restaurant management or supervising food service teams is desirable.
