FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

NHS Borders seeks experienced Project Managers for its Programme Management Office supporting organisationaltransformation. This role delivers efficiency and productivity improvements across clinical services including laboratory and theatres.

Your Responsibilities include:

• Applying consistent project management processes from planning through completion.

• Collaborating with senior service leads delivering strategic priority projects.

• Utilising project/risk management methodologies with tenacious stakeholder communication.

• Contributing to small dynamic PMO team shaping wider organisational workplan.

Work Schedule

36 hours per week fixed-term contract (April 2025 – March 2026) with hybrid flexibility.

You Will Have

• Degree level education or equivalent healthcare transformation project experience.

• Proven project delivery within healthcare services or similar complex environments.

• Creative problem-solving establishing strong working relationships autonomously.

• Familiarity with NHS financial challenges and clinical service improvement priorities.
