FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

WGM Engineering seeks skilled Mechanical Engineers for their Engineered Solutions team focusing on rotating equipment maintenance, particularly pumps. This hands-on role spans workshop maintenance and client site work across Scotland’s central belt.

Your Responsibilities include:

• Dismantling, inspecting, repairing and rebuilding rotating equipment to OEM specifications.

• Diagnosing mechanical faults using systematic approach and engineering measuring equipment.

• Preparing accurate reports, RAMS documentation and job records.

• Coordinating parts procurement ensuring materials availability for workshop/site jobs.

Work Schedule

37.5 hours weekly combining Glasgow workshop with central belt client sites.

You Will Have

• 2-3 years workshop/engineering experience with pump maintenance proficiency.

• Strong technical skills working independently within multi-disciplinary teams.

• Competence using engineering measuring equipment and fault diagnosis.

Requirements

• Hands-on rotating equipment repair and testing experience essential.
