FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

MK Healthcare Group seeks compassionate Male Waking Night Support Workers for solo residential homes supporting children aged 8-18 with complex needs. This role provides overnight safety, stability and emotional reassurance, maintaining calm environments and ensuring nighttime routines run smoothly within a supportive, growing team.

Your Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring children’s safety and wellbeing throughout the night shift.

• Providing emotional support to children who wake, following care/behaviour management plans.

• Performing domestic tasks to maintain clean, welcoming home environments.

• Recording observations and handing over key information to day staff.

Work Schedule

Night shifts supporting flexible full-time/part-time permanent arrangements.

You Will Have

• Calm, caring, resilient approach with excellent communication/observation skills.

• Experience working with children/young people in residential care (preferred).

• Emotional intelligence and natural ability to connect and provide stability.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence and vehicle access preferred.

• DBS on update service and ability to commute to Loughborough LE11 1JS.
