FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
Arthur Schuman Inc seeks an experienced Customer Service Rep to serve as liaison between customers, sales and production teams, processing orders via multiple channels while resolving billing issues and ensuring fulfillment. This remote role demands urgency, accuracy and cross-departmental collaboration to maintain highest service levels in fast-paced cheese distribution environment.
Your Responsibilities include:
• Processing customer orders received via fax, EDI, email and phone within 24-hour verification window.
• Tracking order fulfillment, communicating shortages/substitutes and coordinating lot releases with production/warehouse.
• Resolving credit/billing issues with accounting, processing PO changes, returns and samples.
• Logging customer complaints for appropriate departmental resolution with diligent follow-up.
Work Schedule
Monday-Friday 10AM-6PM CST (40-45 hours/week, overtime required October-December peak season).
You Will Have
• 2-3 years customer service experience (club channels preferred) with high school diploma required.
• Strong Microsoft Excel/Outlook proficiency; Sage X3/ERP and EDI transaction experience advantageous.
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving and time management under pressure.
