FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

Mediglobal Locum Specialist seeks compassionate Support Workers with British Sign Language skills to deliver person-centred care for individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities or mental health needs. This rewarding role promotes independence through daily living support while maintaining accurate records and safeguarding protocols.

Your Responsibilities include:

• Delivering person-centred care including personal care, meals and medication support.

• Encouraging independence, confidence and social inclusion per individual care plans.

• Following risk assessments, maintaining clear records and ensuring health & safety compliance.

• Communicating effectively with service users, families and professionals using BSL Level 1 & 2.

Work Schedule

Part-time flexitime shifts.

You Will Have

• British Sign Language (BSL) Level 1 & 2 training (essential).

• Previous UK care experience and valid DBS on Update Service.

• Strong communication, patience and dependable team/independent working capability.
