FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Paving Paths Support Worker, you’ll deliver trauma-informed residential care to vulnerable young people building trust, teaching life skills, implementing care plans, conducting risk assessments, safeguarding welfare, supporting daily routines/education/appointments, and collaborating with professionals while accessing comprehensive training/development within purpose-driven organisationprioritising staff growth and long-term youth impact.
Your Responsibilities include:
• Build trusting professional relationships acting as positive role model.
• Apply trauma-informed care promoting emotional safety/stability.
• Support life skills development + independence/responsibility.
• Conduct risk assessments + implement management plans.
• Maintain accurate records + safeguarding procedures.
Work Schedule
Full-time shift rota system flexibility required.
Residential young people care settings.
You Will Have
• Residential/home care experience (desirable).
• Trauma-informed care principles understanding.
• Risk assessment/safeguarding practices knowledge.
• Resilient empathetic approach to complex behaviours.
Requirements
• Valid UK driving licence + willingness to drive essential.
• Flexibility working shift rota system.
• Strong communication + IT recording competence.
