FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
As an Excelsis Healthcare Assistant in Shaftesbury, you’ll deliver compassionate residential care to older adults through personal care (washing, dressing, grooming), mealtime support monitoring nutritional changes, relationship building, dignity advocacy, meaningful engagement encouragement, and concern reporting to Household Lead within supportive team environment offering visa sponsorship, accommodation assistance, and immediate start for experienced care professionals.
Your Responsibilities include:
- Assist personal care: washing, dressing, grooming maintaining dignity.
- Support eating/drinking creating positive mealtime environments.
- Build trusting resident relationships responding to needs/questions.
- Monitor/report nutritional status changes to Household Lead.
- Encourage meaningful engagement promoting resident wellbeing.
Work Schedule
Full-time residential care shifts.
Shaftesbury, Dorset care home location.

- Excellent communication building professional relationships.
- Basic IT skills for record-keeping.
- Multitasking prioritising multiple resident requests.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-year Care home Healthcare Assistant experience essential.
- Flexible attitude toward tasks/hours.
- Ability working alone under pressure.
