FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Residential Support Worker at Ambitious about Autism’s St. John’s College in Brighton, you’ll support autistic children/young people across Ashington Gardens, College View, and Pier View homes under Care Management/Therapy Teams, assisting with self-care (eating, bathing, toileting, medication), maintaining accurate care files/logs, building supportive relationships, promoting emotional health/self-esteem, and accompanying learners on community outings (bowling, cinema, dining) to develop independence/social skills for adult life within 140-year specialist institution.
Your Responsibilities include:
- Support self-care/independence: eating, bathing, toileting, medication.
- Maintain accurate care files, review logs, liaise at handovers.
- Build relationships promoting emotional health/self-esteem.
- Accompany community outings building confidence/experiences.
- Work flexibly across residential houses as needs require.
Work Schedule
Full-time permanent across Brighton residential homes.
Flexible shifts supporting college operational needs.
Primary base at one location with cross-site flexibility.

Requirements
- Enhanced DBS check required (Safer Recruitment process).
