FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Technology Intern at Hiscox, you’ll contribute to cutting-edge initiatives like new security/threat management software, AI projects with Google/Microsoft, global customer portal frameworks, Databricks data stack modernisation, and virtual desktop solutions within their tech function driving competitive advantage through innovative, sustainable systems. This 8-week programme (29th June – 28th August 2026) welcomes penultimate-year students from any degree background, offering real project contributions, senior stakeholder interactions, business training, group research presentations, and structured support including induction, manager check-ins, and a dedicated buddy. No coding required—Hiscox seeks diverse thinkers eager to learn how technology shapes insurance operations while embodying core values of Courage, Ownership, Human, Connected, and Integrity.

Your Responsibilities include:

• Contribute to live technology projects across security, AI, data, and digital initiatives.

• Build relationships interacting with senior stakeholders across the business.

• Participate in training sessions understanding Hiscoxoperations and insurance industry.

• Collaborate on group intern research project presenting recommendations to leadership.

Work Schedule

Full-time 8-week internship.

29th June – 28th August 2026.

You Will Have

• Strong communication skills partnering with diverse colleagues/stakeholders.

• Analytical thinking with interpersonal strengths no coding experience needed.

Requirements

• Penultimate year undergraduate/master’s student graduating 2027.

• Predicted 2:1 degree in any discipline.

• UK work permission and fluent business English.
