FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

We are recruiting an experienced Registered Care Manager to take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the care home. This is a senior leadership role with direct accountability for regulatory compliance, care quality, staff performance, and operational management.

This role is suitable only for candidates with proven management experience in a CQC-regulated care setting.

Key Responsibilities

● Overall management of the residential care home in line with CQC regulations

● Maintain and improve care quality, compliance, and inspection outcomes

● Recruit, lead, supervise, and develop staff teams

● Ensure safeguarding, medication management, infection control, and health & safety compliance

● Oversee care planning, risk assessments, audits, and quality assurance

● Prepare for and manage CQC inspections

● Manage rotas, staffing levels, budgets, and occupancy

● Liaise with residents, families, healthcare professionals, local authorities, and regulators

● Maintain accurate records and compliance documentation

Essential Requirements

● Proven experience as a Registered Care Manager in a residential care home

● Strong working knowledge of CQC standards and inspection processes

● Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills

● Right to work in the UK or eligibility for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship
