We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Construction Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent time management, and technical expertise in construction planning and execution. This role offers an opportunity to lead diverse projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

● Manage and supervise all phases of construction projects, including planning, execution, and close-out.

● Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 to ensure timely delivery of milestones.

● Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate smooth project progression.

● Oversee site operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

● Utilise Civil 3D for civil engineering design review and site layout planning.

● Monitor project budgets and control costs effectively.

● Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work quality and adherence to specifications.

● Manage procurement processes for materials and equipment needed for construction activities.

● Lead project meetings, report progress to stakeholders, and resolve any issues promptly.

● Ensure effective utilisation of resources through excellent time management practices.

Requirements

● Proven experience in construction management across diverse projects.

● Proficiency in Primavera P6 for project scheduling and planning.

● Strong knowledge of Civil 3D for civil engineering applications.

● Excellent organisational skills with a focus on time management to meet deadlines efficiently.

● Demonstrable leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate teams and manage subcontractors effectively.

● Sound understanding of health and safety regulations within the construction industry.

● Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

● Relevant qualifications in Construction Management or Civil Engineering are preferred but not essential.
