Role Overview

We are looking for a driven Entry-Level Business Data Analyst to join our growing analytics team. If you love digging into data to find the “why” behind the numbers, this role is for you. You will work alongside senior analysts to clean, analyze, and interpret data that directly impacts our sales, operations, and marketing strategy.

This is a true entry-level role and an ideal launchpad for someone eager to build a career in data, working in a fast-paced environment where modern tools and AI-assisted analytics are part of our daily workflow.

Responsibilities

• Data Prep & Analysis: Collect, clean, and validate daily data from various sources (CRM, ERP, and spreadsheets).
• Querying & Reporting: Write and run SQL queries to pull data, and build/maintain clean dashboards in Power BI or Tableau.
• Cross-Functional Support: Partner with sales, finance, and operations teams to help turn their business questions into clear, data-driven answers.
• Modern Productivity: Use AI tools (like ChatGPT, Copilot, or Gemini) to speed up code writing, data cleaning, and documentation.
• Presenting Insights: Break down complex data into simple, visual summaries for non-technical team members.

What We’re Looking For (Skills & Tools)

• SQL: Comfort with the basics (joins, data types, group by, and aggregations) in MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Excel: Advanced skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and basic data cleaning).
• BI Tools: Hands-on experience building simple dashboards in Power BI or Tableau.
• Tech Savvy: Familiarity with using GenAI tools to streamline your daily workflows and coding.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, great attention to detail, and the ability to explain data insights like a storyteller.
• Nice to have: Basic Python or R skills for quick automation tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience (we absolutely count internships, university capstone projects, or a strong personal GitHub/Kaggle portfolio).
• Ability to manage your own deadlines and collaborate smoothly in an agile, hybrid team environment.
