FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

Support Worker

We are looking for caring, reliable, and compassionate Support Workers to provide high-quality, person-centred care to individuals in their own homes. You’ll support people to live independently while promoting their dignity, wellbeing, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support with daily living activities, including washing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Administer medication in line with care plans and company procedures.
• Assist with mobility and accompany clients to appointments, shopping, and social activities.
• Offer companionship and emotional support, encouraging independence and wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate care records and report any changes in clients’ health or wellbeing.
• Work collaboratively with families, colleagues, and healthcare professionals to deliver outstanding care.
• Follow all health and safety policies to ensure a safe environment for clients.

About You

• Caring, compassionate, and committed to delivering excellent care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous care experience is desirable but not essential, as full training can be provided.
• A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are preferred due to the community-based nature of the role.
• A Health & Social Care qualification or First Aid certificate is beneficial but not essential.
