About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Support Worker to join our team in South Gloucestershire, Bramble Homecare. In this role, you will provide person-centred support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges, helping them to live independently, build resilience, and achieve their personal goals.
Responsibilities
· Provide emotional and practical support to service users
· Assist individuals in developing daily living skills and routines
· Support care plans and risk assessments
· Encourage participation in community activities and social inclusion
· Monitor and report changes in mental health or behaviour
· Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, families, and support networks
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
· Support with personal care when required
Requirements
· Previous experience in mental health support or a similar care role (preferred but not essential)
· A caring, patient, and non-judgmental approach
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Relevant qualifications in Health & Social Care (desirable)
