Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and dynamic Social Media Specialist to join us. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and enhancing our social media presence across various platforms, engaging with our audience, and promoting our brand image. This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilise your expertise in public relations and social media management to drive brand awareness and customer engagement. The successful applicant will play a key role in developing content strategies, analysing performance metrics, and fostering positive relationships with our online community.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies aligned with company goals.
• Create engaging, high-quality content tailored to different social media platforms.
• Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely manner to foster community engagement.
• Analyse social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, PR, and design to ensure brand consistency.
• Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep our content fresh and innovative.
• Manage paid advertising campaigns on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others as appropriate.
• Maintain a consistent brand voice across all digital channels while managing online reputation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing roles.
• Strong understanding of public relations principles and how they apply within social media contexts.
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling content.
• Proficiency in social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar platforms.
• Creative mindset with an eye for visual aesthetics and storytelling.
• Ability to analyse data using analytics tools to inform strategy adjustments.
• Organised with excellent time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• A proactive attitude with a passion for staying current on emerging trends in social media marketing. This position offers an engaging environment where your creativity can thrive whilst contributing significantly to our brand’s growth and reputation.
• Someone with a knowledge/interest in compact tractors, excavators & any such machinery would be advantageous.
