Nestled in the vibrant heart of Lawley, Telford Hall is a modern, 66-bed nursing home offering outstanding facilities, including a salon, serene lounges, garden rooms, a cinema, and a tea room. We specialize in nursing, palliative, and dementia care, fostering a homelike environment that enhances the quality of life for our residents. Our dedicated team is guided by experienced leadership and supported by a strong sense of community, enabling us to deliver compassionate, person-centered care.
Your Responsibilities include:
• Assisting residents with personal care, including hygiene, dressing, and mobility support, ensuring their dignity and comfort.
• Supporting residents with meals and hydration, ensuring their dietary needs are met.
• Promoting resident engagement by encouraging participation in activities and social interaction.
• Monitoring residents’ health and well-being, promptly addressing any changes or concerns.
• Providing emotional support and companionship to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
• Documenting care activities accurately and maintaining clear communication with team members.
• Ensuring a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for residents and colleagues.
• Participating in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Work schedule
Day Shifts: 3 days per week (33 hours)
Shifts: 7am-7pm
You will have
• A compassionate and proactive attitude.
• A genuine interest in health and social care (previous experience is advantageous but not essential).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Flexibility to work night shifts and adapt to residents’ needs.
