FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

NHS Forth Valley seeks registered Pharmacy Technicians for GP practice pharmacotherapy service. This role supports safe effective pharmaceutical care ensuring optimal patient medicine outcomes within multidisciplinary team environment.

Your Responsibilities include:

• Delivering pharmaceutical care across GP practices, community pharmacies and care homes.

• Collaborating with pharmacists, technicians and support workers within pharmacotherapy team.

• Utilising effective communication and influencing skills with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Work Schedule

Full-time 36 hours per week (reduced from 37 hours as of April 2026).

You Will Have

• General Pharmaceutical Council registration as Pharmacy Technician.

• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to travel across service delivery area.

• Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme membership capability.

Requirements

• Willingness travelling throughout Forth Valley service delivery region.
