FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

Shakti Lodge seeks compassionate Care Assistants to provide high-quality resident support ensuring dignity, comfort and wellbeing. This role assists with personal care, promotes independence and maintains a homely, safe environment through team collaboration and resident engagement.

Your Responsibilities include:

• Providing personal care including washing, grooming, dressing and toileting support.

• Assisting with mobility while encouraging resident independence wherever possible.

• Engaging residents in conversations and activities promoting social interaction and wellbeing.

• Supporting mealtimes, light housekeeping and monitoring/reporting health/behaviour changes.

Work Schedule

Part-time permanent in-person role with flexible shift patterns.

You Will Have

• Compassionate, patient nature with good communication and interpersonal skills.

• 1 year care home experience required.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within care team environment.

Requirements

• English proficiency and right to work in UK .

• Certificate of Higher Education preferred.
