MediPro Talent is recruiting a GPhC-registered Pharmacist for a well-established pharmacy in Chippenham that prioritisesexceptional healthcare delivery in a safe, welcoming environment for both staff and patients. You will prepare and dispense prescribed medications while providing expert advice on safe usage of prescriptions and over-the-counter products, ensuring full compliance with regulations and patient confidentiality. Your Responsibilities include:

• Accurately preparing and dispensing prescribed medications to patients, verifying prescriptions and ensuring correct dosages and labelling.

• Offering professional advice on the safe use, side effects, interactions and storage of prescription and over-the-counter medications.

• Maintaining strict patient confidentiality while adhering to all legal, ethical and regulatory standards set by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

• Conducting medicine use reviews, health screenings and consultations to support patient wellbeing and preventive care.

• Managing pharmacy stock, ordering supplies and performing audits to ensure availability and quality of medications.

• Collaborating with healthcare teams, responding to patient queries and promoting public health initiatives.

Work Schedule

Full-time hours in a community pharmacy setting, typically including a mix of weekdays, weekends and potentially evening shifts to cover operational needs, with flexibility discussed during recruitment.

Requirements

• Full registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) – required.

• Right to work in the UK or eligibility for visa sponsorship (available for GPhC-registered candidates).

• Desirable:

• Experience in community pharmacy settings.

• Knowledge of UK healthcare systems and NHS guidelines.
