FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Buns & Batter Cafe Manager in Middlesbrough, you’ll lead daily operations across busy service periods supervising baristas/servers/kitchen staff, overseeing food preparation/cooking maintaining high standards, ensuring food safety/hygiene compliance, managing staff schedules/inventory/orders, delivering excellent customer service, implementing training programmes, and handling feedback while enjoying flexitime within established hospitality environment.
Your Responsibilities include:
• Manage daily cafe operations ensuring smooth service delivery.
• Supervise/motivate staff optimising team performance/efficiency.
• Oversee food prep/cooking maintaining quality/safety standards.
• Organise schedules, monitor performance, manage inventory/orders.
• Deliver exceptional customer service resolving issues promptly.
Work Schedule
Full-time permanent with flexitime arrangements.
You Will Have
• Strong team leadership motivating diverse hospitality staff.
• Food production/kitchen operations experience (desirable).
• Barista/hotel/restaurant background advantageous.
• Excellent organisational/customer-focused leadership qualities.
Requirements
• Proven restaurant/hospitality supervising experience.
• Food safety/hygiene standards knowledge essential.
• Ability multitasking in fast-paced service environment.
