FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Lloyds Banking Group Customer Support Specialist, you’ll start branch-based in Portsmouth supporting customers face-to-face across Lloyds/Halifax locations (up to 9 months) before transitioning to permanent remote role handling inbound calls, social media, web-chat, and video appointments helping customers through critical moments including bereavement support, fraud resolution, vulnerable customer assistance, and digital banking confidence building. This 4-day week optionrole offers comprehensive paid training across products/systems, requiring 12+ months customer service experience and suitable home working setup (private space, stable Wi-Fi) for remote phase starting early 2027.

Your Responsibilities include:

• Branch phase: Face-to-face customer support across Portsmouth Lloyds/Halifax.

• Remote phase: Inbound calls, social media, web-chat, video appointments.

• Support customers through bereavement, fraud, vulnerability situations.

• Promote digital banking services building customer confidence.

• Identify opportunities connecting customers to appropriate products/services.

Work Schedule

Branch phase (until early 2027): 35 hours/week, Mon-Sat branch hours.

Remote phase (early 2027+):

4-Day Week: 8am-6pm starts, max 4/7 days, 37.5% weekends.

5-Day Week: 8am-8pm starts, max 5/7 days, 37.5% weekends.

Requirements

• Minimum 12 months customer service experience (any sector).

• Suitable home working environment (private space, stable Wi-Fi).

• Portsmouth branch availability until early 2027 transition.

• Flexible for weekend working (37.5% max).
