FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Care Assistant with Snowdrop Home Care Rutland, you will provide compassionate domiciliary care to individuals in their own homes across Stamford and nearby villages, supporting personal care, medication prompts, meal preparation, and companionship to maintain independence and wellbeing. This rewarding role suits caring individuals passionate about making a difference, with comprehensive induction and ongoing training provided even without prior experience, plus every other weekend availability essential for flexible full or part-time patterns. Your Responsibilities include:

• Provide personal care including assistance with washing, dressing, and daily hygiene needs.

• Support medication administration and meal preparation/feeding as required.

• Offer companionship through conversation, activities, and emotional support.

• Help with light household tasks, shopping, and maintaining a safe home environment.

Work Schedule

Flexible full-time or part-time hours.

Every other weekend required.

You Will Have 

• Caring, compassionate nature passionate about helping others.

• Reliable and flexible for domiciliary home visits.

• Good communication skills for building client relationships.

• Willingness to complete mandatory training.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence with own reliable vehicle (bonus, not essential).

• Weekend availability (every other weekend).

• Local to Stamford/surrounding villages.
