FULL JOB DESCRIPTION 

Novicare Limited is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to join its care team in London. In this role, you will support patients in care homes and home care settings, helping to ensure their comfort, safety, and overall wellbeing.

This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives by providing attentive, person-centred care while working alongside healthcare professionals.

Your Responsibilities include:

• Assist patients with daily activities such as washing, dressing, and mobility support.

• Support the development and implementation of personalised care plans.

• Monitor patients’ health and report any changes or concerns to senior staff.

• Maintain accurate care records using IT systems.

• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.

• Assist with medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals.

• Support with light domestic tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.

• Travel between care settings or patient homes when required.

Work Schedule:
Up to 20 hours per week

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).

• Strong organisational skills for managing care plans and responsibilities.

• Basic IT literacy for documentation and record keeping.

• Compassionate attitude and genuine interest in supporting others.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Driving licence preferred for travel between care locations.

• Previous experience in a care home or home care environment is advantageous but not essential.
