Duties:
● Provide personal care and support to individuals in their homes or residential care facilities
● Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
● Administer medication according to prescribed schedules
● Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
● Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
● Accompany clients to appointments and outings
● Monitor and report any changes in clients’ physical or mental health
● Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Experience:
● Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but further training will be offered
● Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and principles
● Ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families
● Compassionate and patient demeanour
● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
