FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
Overview
We are looking for a reliable, organised and detail-oriented Accounts and Admin person to join our team.
This is a varied role combining day-to-day bookkeeping with general office administration, so the ideal candidate will be comfortable working across both finance and office support functions.
Hours:
25–35 hours per week. Flexible working hours can be considered for the right candidate.
Key responsibilities include:
● Maintaining accurate financial records using Xero
● Processing invoices, expenses and payments
● Bank reconciliations
● Managing purchase and sales ledgers
● Assisting with payroll preparation
● Handling phone calls, emails and general enquiries
● Filing, data entry and record keeping
● Supporting the wider team with administrative tasks as required
Essential requirements:
● Proven experience using Xero
● Strong attention to detail
● Good numeracy and IT skills
● Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
● Excellent organisational and communication skills
Desirable:
● Previous experience in a similar accounts/admin role
● Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
