Assistant Finance Business Partner
Salary: £45,000 + 10% Bonus

Are you a part-qualified CIMA or ACCA studier looking to step into a commercially focused finance role? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing financial services business as a Finance Business Partner, working remotely while collaborating with a Liverpool-based finance team that values partnership, progression, and performance.

The Role:

You’ll act as a key link between finance and the wider business – providing insightful analysis, supporting commercial decision-making, and helping to shape strategic direction. You’ll have full ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting, while gaining invaluable exposure to senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with non-finance stakeholders to provide clear, actionable financial insight.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting cycles with accurate analysis and commentary.
• Track performance against key metrics, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Prepare business cases and financial models to support decision-making.
• Drive process improvements across reporting and planning.
• Collaborate closely with the Finance Director and senior FBP’s to align on strategy and performance.

About You:

• Part-qualified accountant (CIMA or ACCA) actively studying towards qualification.
• Experience in a management accounting, FP&A, or commercial finance environment.
• Strong analytical skills and Excel proficiency.
• Confident communicator who can build relationships across the business.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely, with occasional visits to Liverpool for team collaboration.
• Ideally based in the North West, to make occasional in-person meetings easier.
