The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues.
• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks including engine diagnostics, brake repairs, suspension work, and electrical system troubleshooting.
• Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to carry out repairs and replacements.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding repair progress and vehicle status.
• Assist in ordering parts and managing workshop inventory as needed.

Requirements

• Proven mechanical knowledge with a solid understanding of automotive systems.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to diagnose complex vehicle issues accurately.
• Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive technology are desirable but not essential.
