FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
We are currently seeking an experienced Halal Slaughterman who is already based in the United Kingdom and holds a Skilled Worker Visa with a Certificate of Sponsorship (COS) under the Butcher SOC Code 5431. This role is for a well-established food processing client located in Northern Ireland.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out halal-compliant slaughter and processing activities in accordance with religious requirements.
- Ensure full adherence to UK food safety, hygiene, and animal welfare regulations.
- Work efficiently within a production environment to meet daily operational targets.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance throughout all tasks.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Halal Slaughterman within a regulated environment.
- Already residing in the UK with a valid Skilled Worker Visa and COS under SOC Code 5431.
- Full understanding of halal slaughter practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance.
