Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and passionate Singing Teacher to inspire and cultivate musical talent across diverse age groups. In this dynamic role, you will design engaging lesson plans, foster a positive learning environment, and help students develop their vocal skills through tailored instruction. Whether working with children, teenagers, or adults, your enthusiasm and expertise will ignite a love for singing and music. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ artistic journeys while honing your teaching craft in your own setting, either online or face-to-face.

Responsibilities

• Create personalised plans that cater to different skill levels and age groups, incorporating elements of vocal technique, performance skills, and musical theory.
• Deliver engaging singing lessons that motivate students to improve their vocal abilities while fostering confidence and self-expression.
• Engage with students effectively, ensuring a respectful, inclusive environment conducive to learning and creativity.
• Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, student progress, attendance, and feedback to monitor growth and inform future instruction.
• Stay current with trends in music education, vocal techniques, and related arts that can be integrated into creative projects or extracurricular activities.

Essential Critera:

• Experience in teaching (preferably specifically singing or voice training).
• Experience working with children or young people.
• Knowledge of vocal technique.
• Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate vocal exercises, performance techniques, and artistic expression.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate students of all backgrounds and skill levels.
• Passion for nurturing talent through tutoring session.
• Your own venue to teach from (this can be your house).

Non-essential, but beneficial:

• Knowledge of music theory
