We are a growing small business based in Slough, specialising in selling stylish and affordable home furnishing products online. Our products are available across major online marketplaces including Amazon, eBay, TikTok Shop, and B&Q. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a Business Analyst to join our team and help drive data-led decisions to improve our performance, efficiency, and profitability.
Role Overview
The Business Analyst will be responsible for analysing business performance, identifying growth opportunities, improving operational processes, and supporting management in making strategic decisions. This is a face-to-face role based at our Slough office — ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with a small but dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Analyse sales, pricing, and profit data across multiple online platforms (Amazon, eBay, TikTok, B&Q).
- Identify market trends, customer preferences, and product performance insights.
- Support decision-making by producing clear reports, dashboards, and performance summaries.
- Recommend improvements for stock management, marketing campaigns, and listings.
- Work closely with the operations and marketing teams to improve overall efficiency.
- Assist in setting KPIs and tracking progress against business goals.
- Review and streamline business processes to support company growth.
Requirements
- Masters’s degree in Business, Data Analysis, Economics, or a related field.
- Previous experience in e-commerce or retail business analysis is highly desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets and data visualisation tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team.
- Must be able to work on-site in Slough (this is not a remote role).
Desirable Skills
- Experience using Amazon Seller Central, eBay Analytics, TikTok Shop, or B&Q TradePoint.
- Understanding of digital marketing metrics, product listings, and pricing optimisation.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Google Analytics, or similar tools.
