We are now expanding our Health and Social Care curriculum and are seeking a passionate and experienced Adult Education Tutor / Health & Social Care Trainer to join our team. Role Overview
As an Adult Education Tutor (Health and Social Care), you will play a key role in designing, delivering, and managing engaging digital learning experiences for adult learners. You will work closely with our content and digital teams to develop evidence-based, accessible, and interactive training materials that meet professional and regulatory standards within the health and social care sector.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and deliver engaging digital lessons covering essential health and social care topics.
- Develop and adapt online courses and assessments suitable for adult learners.
- Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback and support.
- Support learners with additional educational or personal needs.
- Promote inclusive learning practices and ensure equality and diversity in all teaching activities.
- Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to staff training.
- Support learner enrolment, induction, and progression activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a seamless and professional experience for clients and learners.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- A recognised qualification in Medicine, Nursing, Health and Social Care, or a related field (MBBS, NVQ Level 5, or equivalent).
- 4 + Years of Experience teaching or training learners, ideally in health or social care education.
- Strong knowledge of current evidence based practices.
- Excellent communication and digital literacy skills, with the ability to engage learners in a digital environment.
- A learner-centred approach and a genuine passion for professional development and education.
