Our Live-in CareGivers enable adults requiring care or support to remain independent and live in their own homes for as long as possible. If you have a caring nature and a desire to help those in your community, read on to find out more about a rewarding job as a Live-in Care Assistant.
What we offer our Live-in Care Assistants:
· Weekly pay rate of £900 per week
. Full time hours
· Help with relocation travel to the Client’s location

Right at Home Dundee, Angus and North Fife provide live-in care and support packages to clients in the following areas: Dundee City, Broughty Ferry, Monifieth, Carnoustie, Arbroath, Forfar, Meigle, Inchture, Longforgan, Invergowrie, Wormit, Newport on Tay, Tayport, Leuchars and everywhere in-between.
Duties will include:
· Motivating Clients to get the most out of their day
· Personal care
· Administering medication
· Assisting Clients with washing and dressing
· Shopping
· Housekeeping
· Meal preparation
· Taking Clients for appointments or outings
Requirements of a Care Assistant:
· Be available to relocate to and live at the Client’s home (private bedroom)
· Must be aged 18 or over
· Must hold a full and valid UK or EU/EEA driving licence and have access to own vehicle as the post is likely to involve taking Clients to appointments, supermarkets etc…
· Ideally we are looking to hear from candidates who possess professional qualifications such as an SVQ2/SVQ3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent although this is not essential.
· Current valid registration with the Scottish Social Services council is also desirable or we can support you with registration.
· Applicants must be willing to undertake a PVG (Protection of Vulnerable Group) check/update prior to commencing in post.
· Have a genuine passion to want to help others
You might already have experience as a Live-in Care Assistant, but if you have worked as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, Health Care Assistant or in the NHS, and want to use you experience to help enrich a client’s life on a long-term support basis, we would love to hear from you.
