Willowbank Care is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Care Workers to join our team, supporting individuals with complex learning difficulties and mental health needs in their homes across Bristol.
About Willowbank Care
Willowbank Care operates across 13 homes in Bristol, providing high-quality supported living services in vibrant urban areas. Each home accommodates from 1 to 6 service users, creating a safe, supportive, and friendly environment tailored to individual needs. Our mission is to empower service users to build independence, achieve their goals, and enjoy a meaningful quality of life.
Your Role as a Care Worker
As a key member of our team, you’ll provide essential support to individuals with complex learning difficulties and mental health challenges. Your responsibilities will include:
Personal Care: Assisting with hygiene, dressing, and personal needs.
Daily Living Support: Helping with tasks like cooking, cleaning, and developing self-help skills.
Community Engagement: Supporting service users to go shopping, attend appointments, and participate in social and recreational activities.
Holiday Support: Assisting service users in planning and enjoying holidays, ensuring they experience meaningful and enjoyable trips.
Encouragement & Empowerment: Building trusting relationships and fostering independence.
Sleep-In Shifts: Providing overnight support as needed, ensuring safety and reassurance.
We are seeking individuals with a passion for care and the drive to make a positive impact in the lives of others. Ideal candidates will have:
- A caring, patient, and empathetic nature.
- Flexibility to work across a 24/7 rota, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shifts.
- A UK driving licence (preferred) and willingness to assist service users with outings, errands, and holiday trips.
- A proactive, adaptable approach to supporting service users with complex needs.
- A genuine commitment to promoting independence and inclusion for individuals with mental health needs and learning difficulties.
