About Willowbank Care

Willowbank Care operates across 13 homes in Bristol, providing high-quality supported living services in vibrant urban areas. Each home accommodates from 1 to 6 service users, creating a safe, supportive, and friendly environment tailored to individual needs. Our mission is to empower service users to build independence, achieve their goals, and enjoy a meaningful quality of life.

Your Role as a Care Worker

As a key member of our team, you’ll provide essential support to individuals with complex learning difficulties and mental health challenges. Your responsibilities will include:
Personal Care: Assisting with hygiene, dressing, and personal needs.
Daily Living Support: Helping with tasks like cooking, cleaning, and developing self-help skills.
Community Engagement: Supporting service users to go shopping, attend appointments, and participate in social and recreational activities.
Holiday Support: Assisting service users in planning and enjoying holidays, ensuring they experience meaningful and enjoyable trips.
Encouragement & Empowerment: Building trusting relationships and fostering independence.
Sleep-In Shifts: Providing overnight support as needed, ensuring safety and reassurance.

We are seeking individuals with a passion for care and the drive to make a positive impact in the lives of others. Ideal candidates will have:

  • A caring, patient, and empathetic nature.
  • Flexibility to work across a 24/7 rota, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shifts.
  • A UK driving licence (preferred) and willingness to assist service users with outings, errands, and holiday trips.
  • A proactive, adaptable approach to supporting service users with complex needs.
  • A genuine commitment to promoting independence and inclusion for individuals with mental health needs and learning difficulties.
