FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

PACT seeks experienced Family Support Workers assisting families visiting prisoners at HMP Brixton Visitor Centre. This rewarding role provides essential support, advice plus play services facilitating family contact within challenging prison environment.

Your Responsibilities include:

• Supporting families in Visitor Centre managing play/children’s services plus catering operations.

• Facilitating prison visits, family days plus providing guidance to visitors navigating procedures.

• Delivering safeguarding/child protection support identifying concerns plus agency partnerships.

• Maintaining accurate records contributing to family work planning/development initiatives.

You Will Have

• Experience working with offender families within challenging environments demonstrating resilience.

• Excellent organizational skills managing demanding workloads plus safeguarding responsibilities.

• Strong interpersonal communication building agency partnerships plus family support networks.

• Knowledge of child protection practices plus ability contributing to service development effectively.

Requirements

• UK right to work plus enhanced DBS clearance essential for prison environment access.
