FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

Graceage Care seeks compassionate Healthcare Assistants delivering domiciliary care within Colchester homes. This person-centred role supports daily living activities while safeguarding vulnerable service users through professional home care standards.

Your Responsibilities include:

• Providing excellent personal care fulfilling individual needs and preferences.

• Assisting with medication per risk assessments, meal preparation considering cultural/nutritional requirements.

• Safely using manual handling equipment while documenting comprehensive care records.

• Reporting safeguarding concerns promptly and attending required training seminars.

Work Schedule

Full-time variable hours with flexible/negotiable schedules supporting client needs.

You Will Have

• Compassionate, attentive approach with excellent communication/documentation skills.

• Strong teamwork collaborating effectively within domiciliary care operations.

• Honest, reliable attitude demonstrating ability to learn care procedures quickly.

• Valid driving licence with car access beneficial for community home visits.

Requirements

• UK right to work status plus up-to-date Enhanced DBS (cost covered if needed).
