FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
Edge Hill University seeks a Support Worker to act as personal assistant for a lecturer with ADHD within the Allied Health, Social Work & Wellbeing department. This role provides tailored assistance managing academic demands, optimisingproductivity and wellbeing while supporting student success through faculty effectiveness.
Your Responsibilities include:
• Planning weekly scheduled activities and adapting to changing needs/priorities.
• Troubleshooting problems and finding creative solutions to ADHD-related challenges.
• Managing schedules, task prioritisation and workload triage in education environment.
• Providing fundamental assistance contributing to lecturer’s effectiveness and student outcomes.
Work Schedule
Part-time 9 hours per week (Monday, Tuesday). Closing date: 13 April 2026.
You Will Have
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills working independently and collaboratively.
• Experience in education environments managing schedules and workload prioritisation.
• Adaptability, flexibility and strong people skills supporting neurodiverse individuals.
