FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

Hill West Primary School seeks a friendly, reliable Catering Assistant to join their school kitchen team. This term-time role helps provide healthy, nutritious meals to pupils and staff while maintaining high hygiene standards in a welcoming lunchtime environment.

Your Responsibilities include:

• Assisting in meal preparation and serving to pupils and staff.

• Maintaining kitchen and dining area hygiene and cleanliness standards.

• Supporting stock control, food storage and kitchen team operations.

• Creating positive atmosphere during busy lunchtime service.

Work Schedule

22.50 hours per week across 45.654 weeks (term time only).

You Will Have

• Team player attitude with reliability and punctuality.

• Willingness to follow health, safety and hygiene procedures.

• Positive approach enjoying work around children (previous catering experience advantageous).

Requirements

• Full training provided for those without catering experience.
