FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Warehouse Operative at KAR UK LTD, you will be essential to the smooth running of warehouse operations, managing stock movement, order fulfilment and equipment handling in a dynamic environment. This part-time role suits active individuals who thrive in fast-paced settings, with full in-house training provided for forklifts and bendy truck equipment even if you lack prior qualifications. You will contribute to a team-focused operation that values dedication, innovation and excellence, ensuring accurate and efficient goods handling from receipt to dispatch.

Your Responsibilities include:

• Efficiently managing incoming and outgoing stock, including goods-in processes and accurate picking/packing of orders for timely dispatch.

• Operating forklifts and bendy truck equipment to move, load and transport goods safely (full training provided for those without experience).

• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment, adhering strictly to health and safety regulations at all times.

• Assisting with inventory checks, stocktaking and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy and operational efficiency.

• Collaborating with team members to meet order deadlines, adapting to changing priorities and workflows as needed.

Work Schedule

Hours are 10:00am – 2:00pm (negotiable) Monday to Friday, totalling 20 hours per week, offering a reliable part-time routine with free on-site parking available.

You Will Have

• A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with strong attention to accuracy when handling goods and stock.

• Physical fitness for an active role involving lifting, moving items and equipment operation.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team or independently.

• Flexibility to adapt to operational needs and a commitment to health and safety standards.

Requirements

• Prior warehouse experience preferred, particularly in goods-in or stock management.

• Experience with forklifts or bendy equipment advantageous (training provided if needed).

• Right to work in the UK, with the physical capability for warehouse tasks.

• Desirable:​

• Forklift certification or prior use of warehouse equipment.

• Familiarity with inventory systems or order picking processes.
