As an NHS Lothian Healthcare Support Worker in East Lothian, you’ll join community teams and East Lothian Community Hospital delivering person-focused care across Hospital to Home, District Nursing, Ward 1, Ward 3 Rehabilitation, Ward 4 Step Down, and Ward 5 Neurobehavioural services supporting activities of daily living, medication, meal preparation, and end-of-life care within picturesque region offering diverse career development through robust clinical education and inclusive culture.

Your Responsibilities include:

• Assist activities of daily living + personal care needs.

• Support medication administration + meal preparation.

• Contribute to end-of-life + palliative care delivery.

• Work collaboratively across community/hospital settings.

• Maintain accurate records following best practice standards.

Work Schedule

Multiple positions full/part-time across East Lothian.

Hospital to Home (full-time) + various ward positions (18-24hrs).

Interviews 20th April 2026 at East Lothian Community Hospital.
