FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Northcare Scotland Care Assistant across three Glasgow care homes, you’ll deliver person-centred care using dignity/compassion creating warm homely atmospheres, physically assisting residents with emotional/cultural/social needs, building professional family relationships, and supporting team members during dayshift (8am-9pm) or nightshift (9pm-8am) alternate weekends within family-run provider maintaining uncompromising standards over 30+ years.

Your Responsibilities include:

• Deliver person-centred emotional/cultural/social resident care.

• Physically assist clients maintaining dignity/compassion.

• Build professional relationships with families/stakeholders.

• Support fellow Care Workers within cheerful team environment.

Work Schedule

• Full-time dayshift 8am-9pm OR nightshift 9pm-8am.

• Alternate weekend working essential.

• Glasgow Southside care homes (Cathcart/Williamwood/Clarkston).

You Will Have 

• Care experience preferred (not essential – training provided).

• Person-centred care + dignity/compassion approach.

• Team player within friendly “can do” care home culture.

• Physical capability assisting residents.

Requirements

• Weekend availability essential for alternate shifts.

• UK Right to Work (no sponsorship available).

• Immediate start post-PVG/references check
