FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Sandbourne House Full Time Support Worker in Southampton SO45, you’ll deliver high-quality home/community care through personal care assistance, daily living support promoting independence, effective communication with clients/families/healthcare professionals, accurate record-keeping, client transport to appointments/social activities using your own vehicle, and continuous professional development within established care provider serving diverse client needs.

Your Responsibilities include:

• Assist personal care tasks maintaining client dignity.
• Support daily living activities promoting independence.
• Drive clients to appointments/social activities safely.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, professionals.
• Maintain accurate care records noting condition changes.

Work Schedule

Full-time 38-40 hours per week.

Southampton SO45 1EH home/community locations.

You Will Have

• Care home experience (advantageous).
• Care plan implementation for individual needs.
• Strong empathy/patience with diverse individuals.
• Excellent interpersonal/team communication skills.

Requirements

• Fluent English communication (required).
• Ability to drive clients (own vehicle implied).
• Basic IT skills for record-keeping/communication.
